General
These Terms apply to all Casa Goikomaia reservations. By making a reservation with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website.
Reservas
Reservations for Casa Goikomaia can be made online at casagoikomaia.com, airbnb.com, vrbo.com, booking.com or by calling us directly at +34 620 70 18 42. All reservations are subject to availability. When making a reservation, please ensure that all the details you provide are correct. It is your responsibility to notify us of any corrections to your booking details as soon as possible.
Number of guests
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate more than 8 adults at Casa Goikomaia at a time. Unless we agree otherwise, the total number of Guests at Casa Goikomaia during their stay must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking. If the number of guests exceeds the number of guests booked, we reserve the right to charge additional fees.
Payment policy
Direct Bookings: When you book Casa Goikomaia through our website or by telephone, you must pay the full booking fee at the time of booking to secure your requested dates. For information on cancellations and when you will be entitled to a refund of your booking fees, please see section 8 below. Please note that if you make a reservation through Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking, you will be subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable booking site.
Reservation fees
We are only responsible for the rates that appear on the Goikomaia.com website or the rates that we can provide you by telephone or via email hola@casagoikomaia.com. Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking booking platforms have their own rates, rules and terms.
Children
Children under 2 years old can stay at Casa Goikomaia free of charge as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times. We have available upon prior request 2 cribs and 2 high chairs for eating.
Payment of reservation fees and security deposit
Reservation fees can be paid by credit card, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or direct deposit. All payments must be made in euros. We reserve the right to retain your credit card details through our authorized payment system Stripe, which will be charged in the event of additional charges and any damage that occurs to Casa Goikomaia during your stay. We reserve the right to request a larger security deposit (at our discretion) for large groups or when bookings are made for particular events. The security deposit (less any additional charges or damage costs) will be refunded to your designated account as soon as possible after your departure. Where we have agreed with you in writing, we may accept designated credit card details in lieu of a security deposit. If we accept your credit card information in lieu of retaining a security deposit, you authorize us to deduct any additional fees, charges or refunds as set forth in these terms, as applicable.
Cancellations and changes to your reservation
If you are no longer able to stay at Casa Goikomaia on the dates you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate a modification to your booking. Please note that rescheduling reservations is at our discretion and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your stay for the date you choose. Our refund policy regarding cancellations is set out in the table below.
Cancellation policy
- Up to 14 days before your arrival, cancellation will be free
- For cancellations less than 7 days before we will refund 50%.

In case of no show you will lose the entire reservation.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. You must check out by 11:00 am on your departure date. Requests for early check-in or late check-out must be made prior to arrival date. While we will do our best to accommodate your needs, early check-in or late check-out times are subject to availability and will be arranged at our discretion.
Cleaning
You agree to leave Casa Goikomaia in a clean and tidy condition upon your departure. In the event you fail to do so, additional cleaning fees may apply. These additional charges will be charged to your designated credit card or deducted from the security deposit you have paid. Upon departure, you must ensure that:

Stack all used dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on or clean them by hand

Close all doors and windows

Leave all dirty/used towels in the bathroom

Leave all sheets and linens on the beds

Take all garbage outside and place it in the provided containers: blue: paper/ yellow: plastics and packaging/ green: glass/ orange: organic.

Smoke
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Casa Goikomaia or any indoor area. If you smoke outside, they will have to take care of collecting cigarette butts.
Personal items
Please note that, unless otherwise required by law, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your (or your Guests’) personal property during your stay at Casa Goikomaia. We recommend that you (and all your Guests) purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any loss or damage to your personal belongings during your stay at Casa Goikomaia.
Private Parties/Events
It is prohibited to hold private or public events without prior notice.
At Casa Goikomaia without our prior written consent. This will include any gathering of more than 8 people or visitors (i.e. people not listed as guests) at Casa Goikomaia, at any time during your stay. This consent is at our discretion and may be subject to additional booking fees and payment of an additional security deposit. If we provide consent to any celebration, party or event at Casa Goikomaia, our consent is subject to your (and your guests’) compliance with the standards of guest behavior as set out in these Terms.
Guest behavior
You agree that you are responsible for the behavior of all guests or visitors at Casa Goikomaia during their stay. If we accept you to hold a party or event at Casa Goikomaia, you must ensure that all noise related to the celebration does not cause disturbance to neighboring properties. All noise that is audible from outside Casa Goikomaia (including music) must be turned off by 12:00 p.m. Excessive noise, including but not limited to loud music and any other disturbance to our neighbors, is strictly prohibited at all times. Subject to our discretion, a first warning will be given should a noise complaint be received from our neighbours. If a second complaint is received, you will be asked to leave Casa Goikomaia as soon as possible and will not be entitled to a refund for any booking fees you have paid.
Commercial use of Casa Goikomaia – Photo sessions
Unless we agree otherwise, commercial use of Casa Goikomaia is strictly prohibited. While we are more than happy for guests to take and share photographs and videos on social media for their own personal purposes, any commercial photo shoot at Casa Goikomaia is prohibited unless we have provided our prior written approval. All filming and photography requests must be submitted prior to your arrival date and will be subject to our discretion (and any additional fees specified by us from time to time). Failure to obtain our prior consent in relation to commercial photography or videography at Casa Goikomaia will amount to a breach of these Terms. Breakage and Damage.
In the event that any part of Casa Goikomaia, including all common and external areas, as well as any furniture, fixtures, appliances or household items, is damaged or broken during your stay, an amount equivalent to the cost of repair or replacement will be charged. of damaged goods. It will be charged to your designated credit card or deducted from the security deposit you have paid. You must notify us immediately as soon as you become aware of any damage to Casa Goikomaia or its furniture and accessories. You should not remove any items from Casa Goikomaia that are not part of your personal belongings. If any items are missing from Casa Goikomaia after your departure, the cost of replacement will be charged to your designated credit card or deducted from the security deposit you have paid.
Breach of Terms and Conditions
In the event that you or one of your Guests breach any of these Terms, the entire loss or damage we suffer as a result of such breach will be charged to your designated credit card or deducted from the security deposit you have paid. In the event of non-compliance, we reserve the right to expel you and your Guests from Casa Goikomaia or refuse future entry to Casa Goikomaia.
Force majeure/Changes beyond our control
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that we are not responsible for any injuries, damages, losses, additional expenses or interruptions, including cancellations and rescheduling of reservations to the extent beyond our reasonable control.
Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms shall have the effect of excluding or limiting any of our liabilities by law, including under the Spanish Consumer Law, nor shall it be construed as having the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying the application of any state law or applicable federal. for the sale of goods and services that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
